EDEKA vs. LIDL


Our biggest challenge so far, last year. EDEKA asked us to help produce a little guerilla campaign. The idea was to enter secretly a Lidl supermarket and have a little conversation on shirts between several “customers” about the bad variety of fruit and vegetables. That was indeed a big thrill.

The biggest challenge was to avoid being located, for all of us, the actors and the cameraman. We did one day of rehearsals and the next day we went to a lidl and did it. It was hilarious: Nobody noticed us shooting a film. After we left the market we were relieved and also very hyped that we did it.

We can only show some footage of the rehearsal. The shirts were handmade by us, to have the option to change a phrase or a word instantly.

It was very helpful to sketch a storyboard. Not only for the client, also for the actors and to make sure that anybody is on the same page. There is no second try on a one shot 🙂
